Ideal for travel, portraits or street photography, the RX100 is complemented with all the bells and whistlers of an advanced digital point-and-shoot, including the capability of recognizing 33 different scenes for photos and 44 scenes for movies, and in difficult lighting (low light or back light) situation, it will capture a second image at a different optimized setting for you to choose from. Images are captured at a 3:2 aspect ratio, the same proportion as most DSLRs.
While the RX100 is modest with it's manual control, relying more on the lens-encircling control dial as the key to its usability, it also comes with a customizable function menu which allows you to customize functions and setting in whatever order you prefers.
